From one of two decks, you'll see so much: a working harbor, big exposed rocks, small islands (bring your rain boots to trudge through the clam flats), and plenty of wildlife. At high tide launch your canoe and paddle around the harbor. Or just sit, read a book, and take it all in. A short ride (5-10 minutes) brings you to beautiful hiking trails, delicious food, locally owned boutiques, and so much more.

Cozy, fully converted historic barn within easy walking distance to the rocky shore of Bass Harbor, a busy lobstering port. An ideal, pet friendly, home base while exploring Acadia National Park. The Seamist is located on "the quietside" of the island. Six minutes from Southwest Harbor and thirty minutes to Bar Harbor, the Seamist also offers guests private hot tub access! Bas Harbor is a working harbor so there is always something to watch. Close to Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse, Acadia NP. We have 5G Wifi.
