We are located out in the country and it is very quiet and safe area. We offer self check-in with a pin pad lock on the door. We are close by but leave you to enjoy country living.

Little House on the Farm

The accommodation is a 2 bedroom cottage on our small farm that has been recently renovated. It is wheel chair accessible. We are in the middle of the fourth largest Amish community in the world. We are half a mile from the center of Mesopotamia, which is known for the End of the Commons General Store and the annual OX roast over the 4th of July. Cleveland and Youngstown are both approximately 45 minutes away. Lake Erie is 30 minutes north.

2,500 sq ft and a generously sized driveway make the Thomas M. Abell House perfect for families and business groups. 2025/6 notice: We have been preparing the exterior wood siding for new paint. Freezing temps arrived early and the project has been paused until spring 2026. Please excuse the temporary appearance of the exterior! A ramp, day bed & downstairs bathroom with shower make the house wheelchair friendly.
