This beautiful refuge boasts the convenience of a 5 minute walk to downtown where you will find eclectic shopping, restaurants and nightlife. We provide off street parking with a private outdoor patio. Yosemite National Park West Gate is 1 hour away! Please be aware that Apr 13 thru Jun 30 and Aug 17 thru Oct 27 a park reservation is required from 5am to 4pm on Saturdays, Sundays, and on May 27, Jun 19, Sep 2 and Oct 14. From Jul 1 thru Aug 16 a reservation is required from 5am to 4pm daily.

Whispering Pines Apartment

The fall colors are spectacular for a hike up scenic Highway 88! Our apartment is located under our main house, with its own keyless private entrance. You'll enjoy a quiet and peaceful setting among tall pines, with wildlife abound. Amador County is rich in gold mining history, and has many charming gold rush towns for you to visit. If your travel journeys include both Yosemite and Lake Tahoe, we are conveniently located between the two ( 2 1/2 hours from Yosemite, and 1 and 1/2 from Tahoe)

We are a short 15 minute walk to downtown Sonora and a 7 minute drive to Columbia State Historic Park. Many more amazing adventures await! Located in the historic Gold Country near the towns of Sonora and Columbia Ca. Very quiet, relaxing, close to many recreation areas. Tourists and adventure destinations nearby include Yosemite, Columbia State Park, Railtown St. Park, Big Trees St. Park, Black Oak Casino, Ski Dodge Ridge. Enjoy shopping or dining out at the many nearby shops and restaurants in Sonora, Jamestown and Columbia, all 5 minutes away. 1 new Queen size bed, 1 sofa/ fold out Queen bed. Very comfortable and clean.

Cottage at the Broken Branch

Experience the historic Gold Country and Yosemite national park staying in this newly renovated 1800s mining cabin. Originally built in the late 1800s for the miners of the Crystal Rock mine, the cottage now has heat, air conditioning, highspeed wifi, a kitchen, and bathroom. The Broken Branch is a small working ranch, so the beautiful sunrise views include several horses, donkeys, and goats. It's about an hour and a half to Yosemite and only minutes from downtown Columbia and Sonora.

Welcome to Haven in the Trees! I am grateful to share my little piece of joy with you and yours. You will be staying in a lovely warm comfortable studio complete with a wee fridge, microwave and all you need to enjoy a light meal. You can relax outside on a private deck absorbing the sounds and sights of nature or you can take a five minute walk into the quaint village of Twain Harte where you can enjoy an espresso, many delicious restaurants and unique shops. Our guest suite is located one mile from downtown Murphys. You are a 3 min drive or short walk from 30+ wineries, good eats, and beautiful walks! For those looking for adventure drive 8 min to explore Mercer Caverns, 25 min to Big Trees State Park for beautiful hikes, or ski/snowboard 45 min away at Bear Valley Mountain Resort. Enjoy a comfortable, clean, and convenient stay with a modern bathroom, open style space, and all the creature comforts to make your stay a relaxing one!

Camp Earnest King Yurt in Twain Harte

Welcome to Camp Earnest, a 21 acre former summer camp tucked into the Sierras in northern California, about 140 miles east of SF. You'll be staying in one of our brand new cozy yurts tucked into the trees and the hillside. Camp Earnest sits in a ponderosa, cedar and manzanita forest, with light snow in the winter and mild summers. We have a year round creek and hikes right off our property. Nearby are Dodge Ridge Ski Area, Pinecrest Lake, Calaveras Big Trees SP & Yosemite NP.

The Hideaway

The Hideaway is an enchanting one room casita situated on the outer crest of the property, The Confluence. Wake up to the sunrise with a lush *View* of the natural countryside from your private deck. The Hideaway is accessed by a foot path (200ft) from the Main House. The Private Bathroom is off of the Main House (200ft from room). From the parking area to the room, it is roughly 400ft. There is no kitchen or cooking appliances other than a hot water kettle and a mini-frig.

Cozy Cottage Nestled Under the Oaks “Oak Nest”

October in the Sierra foothills! Fantastic weather. Yosemite is open despite gov shutdown. We are a 1 hour and 50 min drive to the entrance gate. Oak Nest Cottage is a quiet retreat on 5 wooded acres. The humble cottage is 600 sq feet. Super clean and efficient. The private and quiet cottage includes a kitchenette, bathroom w/ shower, deck, carport and a loft bedroom w/ air cooler. It is comfortably romantic for 2 , safe & affordable.
