The yurt has 1 queen canopy bed, a cot under the bed for addn sleeping, cable tv, small refrigerator, microwave, keurig coffee maker, small charcoal grill, bonfire pit and chairs! The 1/2 bathroom is located just a short walk away in the laundry room for the resort as well as an outdoor shower. Also shared beach,dock, boat,canoe,kayak rental for use!

A winding two-track through the woods delivers you to our cozy 200sq ft yurt located on 10 acres outside of quaint Alden, MI. 5 minute drive to Torch. 15 min. to Bellaire/Short’s! Turn on your favorite camp tunes, unplug, read, make art with the yurt art supplies, do a puzzle, bask on the porch, lounge in the hammocks,cook dinner over the fire, head to Alden for breakfast at the Muffin Tin, take a dip in Torch…we’ll tell you a great spot to jump in! Bunk bed is full size lower, twin upper.

This unique property rental includes use of the entire "Musher's Village"--11 acres with a 16' Pacific Yurt, a Tiny House/Cabin, outdoor kitchen, fire pit, hand pump for water and well-stocked outhouses. You can unplug, rest, and rejuvenate comfortably close to the Earth, immersed in diverse flora, fauna, and geology. The onsite gallery offers workshops on en plein air painting, lapidary and felting arts and wood turning. We also offer guided rockhounding, hikes, fishing, and paddling. Yellow Dog Yurt - Peace and Quiet near Marquette

Located 25 minutes north of Marquette, our yurt is simple and rustic without electricity and a woodstove is the only heat source. We provide bedding, water in buckets, a simple kitchen, a battery pack for string lights, and a sauna for warming the bones. We encourage and cater to silent-sport type of guests as we have kind and close neighbors on all sides.
