Nestled on the foothills of a kloof in the Magaliesberg Mountains, you find our selfcatering home “MziliKaya”. It is part of the Silkaatsnek Nature Reserve, home of Giraffe, Wildebeest, Zebra, Waterbuck, Kudu, Impala & various other Antelope, birds, etc. We are situated in the Hartbeespoort Dam area, which uses the slogan “Close to the City, Out of this World” for many reasons. There is no other place in South Africa where you can find such a variety of top quality activities and restaurants.

The Windsor- Hartbeespoort Dam

Escape from the city to this idyllic villa with uninterrupted dam views. A short one-hour drive from Johannesburg makes The Windsor the perfect getaway for friend and family trips and breakaways for small teams. Studio #292 is situated on a smallholding in Hartbeespoort on the slope of the Magaliesberg with a panoramic view of Hartbeespoortdam and surrounding areas. On the other side of the Studio is another listing, Coucal Cottage. The two listings are separated by a passage and linen room. The Studio has a kitchenette with a microwave, small fridge, kettle, toaster and frying pan (makes a lovely breakfast or stir-fry). The Studio is within 15 minutes driving to Village Mall and other shops.

The cottage has a solar and battery backup system which provides power to essential appliances during load shedding.
