Rauduskridur farm, Franzyhouse.

This is a cozy private cabin in the backyard of a working farm. You will have everything you need for a perfect base to explore the wonders of south coast of Iceland. All the ,,must see" in Iceland is within 3 hours drive from us and a lot of local and traditional restaurants in the neighborhood From here you can see Eyjafjallajokull, Thorsmork, Vestmannaeyjar, Seljalandsfoss, Gljúfrabui, Gluggafoss, Nauthus, Skogafoss, Reynisfjara, Vik, Skaftafell, Jokulsarlon and the Golden sircle

The Shed, country atmosphere

The Shed is totally renovated and has a cozy warm atmosphere. Situated on a working farm far away from traffic and densely populated areas. The Shed sleeps four and has modern amenities. The Shed is perfect for families or two couples travelling together. It is a great base for travelling around the south of Iceland with a selection of self-drive tours you can do e.g. the Golden Circle, The South Coast, Þjórsárvalley, etc. There are also many tour companies operating in this area.

Skeið-Cottage

Relax in this unique and serene environment surrounded by the best that Icelandic nature has to offer with 360° untouched views. Ideal conditions to enjoy the Northern Lights in our cozy little house. We are located 8 km from Hvolsvöllur and the main viewing points of South Iceland are a short drive away. Places such as Seljalandsfoss, Þórsmörk, Vestmannaeyjar, Vík and Reynisfjara are within 1 hour's drive. Everything is there to have an adventurous experience in Iceland.

Snæbýli cottage 4

A warm and brand new house that is located between Vik and Kirkjubæjarklaustur. The cottage is by the farm Snæbýli 1 which is the last farm before heading on the mountain road (F210). It is 56m2 in size and is divided into two bedrooms, bathroom and then an open space where you have a fully equipped kitchen and living room with big windows and breathtaking view. We are 15 km from the main road and the house is in a peaceful place with beautiful mountain surroundings.

Kirkjugolf

Kirkjugolf is very warm, cozy and quite house located in the heart of small Kirkjubæjarklaustur village. House is 75m2 with spacious sitting room, big dinning table and open kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped with all accesoriess for cooking and baking. There is 1 double bed 180x200cm. Free wifi. House is 5-10min away to store, gas station, restaurants and swimming pool. Outside the house there is a terrace with small garden.Licence number HG-00011404.

Eyvindarholt Hill House

The Hill House is a great location for visiting South Iceland. From the house, there is a beautiful view, and the house is big and spacious. It has five good bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a big living room to get together or relax after a day out. The surroundings are peaceful, and there are many options for short hiking from the house. This house is the perfect place for big families or friends.

Valley Guesthouse - Linda's House

Valley Guesthouse is located at the farm Kerlingardalur only 8 km east of the village Vík í Mýrdal. The farm is secluded, surrounded by mountains with a closeness of Mýrdalsjökull glacier. Guests who rent Linda's house have the whole house for themselves. The house consists of 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with a shower and an open kitchen and living room area with a pull out sofa bed.

Kársstaðir

Kársstaðir is nicely located only 5 minutes from the town Kirkjubæjarklaustur. It is a 25 year old summerhouse that we have renovated to more modern, yet romantic Scandinavian farm house decor. The location is quite unique, in the middle of volcanic pseudos with a perfect view over Vatnajökull to the east and Mýrdalsjökull to the west.

The house is located in Eyjafjöll, it stands alone and has great surrounding, In front of you the Vestmaneyjar, great mountains beside you and Eyjafjallajökull behind you. It is my childhood home and it was a privilege to grow up there. The house is old and not perfect but charming.
