Welcome to Castanheiro. Our property is a recently refurbished house built around a century old chestnut tree. A spacious terrace offers a panoramic view of the Santa Cruz Bay. It is conveniently located in Lagoa and within a 3 min walking distance to the ocean . A stroll to natural swimming pools will take you 10 min. The house was lovingly restored to maintain its original stone features. A perfect place to enjoy with family and friends as it comfortably accomodates up to 6 people.

Our house is cozy and was recently renovated. We put a lot of work and love into this house and are happy to share it with our family and friends. This typical fully remodeled house is located on the north coast of São Miguel Island, in Porto Formoso. It has a large terrace with a wonderful front view of the sea. Moinhos Beach is a 10-minute walk away and the village of Porto Formoso is 15 minutes away. There are two restaurants in the immediate vicinity, the city of Ribeira Grande - 10 km away - has a supermarket and many other shops. Several tourist attractions nearby (Furnas, Santa Bárbara Beach, Gorreana Tea).
