The Conductor's Cottage, escape to Waterval Onder

The Conductors' Cottage is a converted railway house that offers beautifully furnished accommodation for up to six guests. Set in the grounds of the main farmhouse, there are three cottages in total. The Conductor's Cottage has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, lounge & outside deck area to enjoy. There are views of the hills of Mpumalanga Province as you sit on the verandah. We are a working farm with resident sheep, geese & pigs. We also have four boxer dogs that are part of the family

Stone Cottage at Dombeya Farm

An ideal location for nature walks, dips in the river, and sundowners at twilight. Relish your evenings in front of the fire with a gentle lullaby sung by hooting owls. Collect your farm fresh eggs from Matilda 🐔 and enjoy your coffee in Ebba's 👩‍🌾 vegetable garden.

Cabin&Cottage is a tranquil property set at the edge of Kaapsehoop in the most picturesque street. With no noise, traffic, street lights or noisy pets. The wild horses roaming freely in the area will make you feel like you are in the middle of nature. Perfect for honeymooners, couples, friends, families, singles, or business people /artists looking for a quiet breakaway. Stay for a day or two or make it your base from where to explore the Panorama Route, Kruger National Park and the Lowveld.

Family self-catering unit (2 Adults, 2 Children)

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Our unit is fully solar powered and with no wi-fi or TV it guarantees a peaceful and special time with your family. The unit is filled with board games, cards and books to give you a break from the busy life. Ideal for bird lovers. As we are situated just outside of town on a smallholding you can enjoy peace and space. Here the night sounds will sing you to dreamland. Note we accept only families. No adult groups to this unit.

School Bus living in Nature

Enjoy a stay in a 1973 converted school bus that has all the comforts of home and touches of luxury. Self-contained accommodation for two in the bushveld with magnificent views and the sounds of nature. All of this is situated in agricultural lands, 15 minutes away from the centre of Nelspruit. The hosts have 4 large dogs that are well socialised and enjoy meeting new people. The property is a self-sustaining homestead where the hosts grow their own vegetables, farm honey and produce eggs.

Farm cottage (En-route to Moz & Kruger)

With tons of adventurous things to do such as walking; hiking; horse-riding; scooter tours and even quantum balancing. The spot is home to some rarities that one must have on the bucket list of The Blue Swallows; The Stone Calendar and Wild Horses that roam the area and village. The perfect stopover for tourists to South Africa on the way to the Kruger National Park.

The Studio is a big open plan room, ideal for couples or families who want a bit more space than a tiny house.

The Wind Chime Cottage

Escape to The Wind Chime, a cozy Kaapsehoop-style home that sleeps 4 and can also accomodate a toddler (1 king bed, 1 double bed, and a beautiful antique toddler bed is available). Enjoy peaceful days surrounded by nature - with wild horses, misty trails, and local cafés just a stroll away. The cottage is self-catering, offering everything you need for a relaxed getaway. Perfect for couples, families, or friends looking to unwind in the quiet charm of the mountains.

Brentwood Cottage

Brentwood Cottage is nestled between Watervalboven and Machadodorp. This cabin offers the ultimate peace and quite with a beautiful dam view. The spacious bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed and a single bed. Guests can unwind under the covered patio with outdoor seating and a Weber braai. Please note that the road leading up to the farm isn't suitable for cars with low ground clearance (sport cars).
