D6 is a self-contained unit in the Wataki Lakes Apartments on the Alps to Ocean cycle trail, in the middle of the Waitaki Whitestone UNESCO Global Geopark & abutting the Aoraki Mackenzie International Dark Sky Reserve. Views of Mt Totara. Over the golf course is Lake Aviemore, popular for boating, with many walks nearby. Hot dry summers, crisp sunny autumn & spring, cold snowy winters. Otematata's population is 200, swelling to 5000 in summer. It is on the road between Oamaru & Omarama.

Two bedrooms with queen beds, 1 bathroom with separate lockable doors. Work space in living room as well as space to take time out. Max 4 guests in the same party only. Suitable for those looking for peace, privacy and calm. Our ‘ageing well’ focus means we get what that means. Healthy food choices for breakfast - homemade and homegrown - including freshly laid eggs. There is NO cooking facility in this guest wing accommodation but tea/coffee making and refrigerator provided.

Unit A5, Waitaki Lakes Apartments is a one bedroom fully serviced apartment in idyllic surroundings on the edge of the Otematata Golf Course with the Alps2Ocean cycle trail, walking trails and wetland areas nearby. The apartment has been refurbished with a new kitchenette & bathroom, double glazing and interior upgrade. Please note that I am not on site but please message anytime if you have any queries or need anything. This is our holiday home so please be mindful of this.

Central to Kurow, Omarama, Sailors Cutting and Twizel and all they have to offer. Perfectly situated and set-up for couples or small groups looking for a comfortable stop-over for Alps2Ocean trail.

Everyone is welcome here at Forest Bliss Cottage located 300m up on the Hunters Hills. We have long views east to , the sea at St Andrews to Timaru, to the Port Hills, Four Peaks, Fox Peak . Forest Bliss is a sustainable exotic forest surrounded by pasture lands. We hope that staying in our quiet, sunny cottage you can have time to relax/rejuvenate yourself on your journey enjoying fresh country air, peaceful walks and bird watching. We hope to see you soon!

Take a short stroll to the nearby Hakataramea River, where you’ll have easy access to excellent fishing right at the end of the property. After a day outdoors, unwind in the private hot tub and take in the incredible night sky. In winter, stay warm and cozy beside the fireplace, making it the perfect year-round getaway.

Our open plan Portacottage provides a comfortable and relaxing stay. As well as the basics to make you feel more than at home, we are also able to cater for your most loved pet providing they can sleep outside. There is lots to see and do, Ollie the horse loves carrots, the cats may come and visit, calves need patting and at times we have sheep and lambs to play with. We offer breakfast when stays are for a minimum of two nights

Getaway on Gordon

Just a one minute walk to cafes, shops and the town centre, this three bedroom (2 rooms with queen beds and one bunk - double bed with single on top) is family friendly or great for those on the bike trails. A nice large kitchen and comfortable lounge with TV, Wi-Fi, fireplace and a large heat pump that heats the whole house. The garage can be available on request for E-bike charging.
