Welcome to Longforde, a very special, charming and beautifully furnished cottage attached to our main home but completely independent with your own access and landscaped to ensure your absolute privacy. Set on 4 acres of stunning gardens, each room has private rural views of the countryside and Tararua ranges. We are located at the end of one of Greytowns most beautiful streets, a walkable 2km into the shops and cafes. As well, we are on a popular walking and biking route to the Waiohine river.

Richcrest Farm Stay-Self contained Cabin

Richcrest Cabin is built for two people. Off the grid and eco-friendly. Set beside a small lake and totally private. Enjoy the company of New Zealand's beautiful birds, Tui, Fantail and an abundance of Kereru. The cabin provides a stunning peaceful private retreat to escape from the trappings of modern life. Double glazed, fully insulated, and an infinity gas heater for warmth. Situated on a traditional New Zealand sheep and beef hill country farm. Marked farm walks for you to enjoy.

The Tiny Escape

Unwind from the demands of daily life & reconnect with nature! Surrounded by natives & nestled upon the hillside with expansive views overlooking our farm & the Valley below, this is a space to sit back & enjoy. Our Tiny House is off grid. It has double glazing, a mini fireplace, toilet with vanity in add-on bathroom off the deck, large porch area for dining and 2 outdoor baths for soaking in the views. Dogs allowed but outside only, a kennel is available Welcome to your Tiny Escape!

The Lighthouse

The Lighthouse is a unique, romantic place on the South Coast. Stunning views, opposite a swimming and dog beach plus rock pools, it’s great for walks. With a comfy double bed and steep stairs, it’s private and quiet - brilliant on a sunny day, cosy in a storm. There's a fantastic cafe around the corner; shops are 10 minutes’ walk away. The main Island Bay bus stop is nearby with regular buses. It's a 9 minute drive to the airport and 15 minutes to downtown Wellington. Small dogs on request.

The house for all seasons, occasions and ages. Double glazed with new thermal curtains. Heat pump and log burner in downstairs living room and heatpump in upstairs bedroom to keep you cosy in winter and cool in summer. The grounds are spacious and private. Great for playing games, BBQ and evening drinks on the sun-drenched deck or in front of the outdoor fireplace. Toys, board games, bikes and sports equipment are provided. Prior approval for pets is required ($20 per stay)

The Little White Bach

1960s fully renovated home in the heart of Martinborough. Perfect getaway for a couple, family or friends to explore the local boutique wineries or the many attractions the Wairarapa has to offer. We have two queen size rooms and one king single, all bedrooms have good size wardrobes. We have two beautiful large decks one south facing out front and one in the back for all day and evening entertainment. We have new radiator heating to keep you warm in cooler months.

Glamping At Johns Hut, Country Pines

Johns Hut is located in our private manuka and forestry block. It is an idyllic spot with hundreds of acres to explore and with only native birds to join you. There is hot water for you to enjoy for outdoor showers and baths but no electricity and no phone reception, so you can truly relax and unwind. There is a large outdoor fire, self contained kitchen and plenty of beds - all beautifully restored in their rustic form. We would love to host you in our spot of heaven!

This property is perfect for total relaxation with incredible views of the Tararua Range adjacent to a vineyard. This modern property has it all; modern kitchen, concrete floors, bath, spa to view the stars, perfect for couples or family and your pet. It is just a 15 min walk or a 7 min bike ride into Martinborough centre where you can enjoy the local hospitality or you can just sit and relax and follow the sun around on one of the many outdoor sitting areas

Tui Cottage - cosy, light, and central

This beautiful, light filled, modern residence is perfectly situated near the heart of Martinborough. Walking/biking distance to the local wineries and shops. 2 bikes provided. Tui Cottage gets fantastic sun, and there is seating outside on the deck - perfect for basking in the rays and enjoying a wine or two. Note that the nightly rate is for 2 people. Extra nightly charge occurs for each person above this (max 8). NO CLEANING FEE 🤩

The Last Church in Apiti

The Last Church in Āpiti is the ultimate escape to relax and discover the stunning Manawatū. Located in the quaint village of Āpiti, set in a valley at the base of the Ruahine Ranges, this renovated Sunday School is a cosy and quirky base to explore the ranges, glow worms, swimming holes, and more. We have a roaring wood burner fire and an outdoor cast iron bath tub for you to enjoy.
