Located one hour from Omaha in the scenic Loess Hills of Iowa, this newly remodeled studio apartment above the garage has a large deck and a beautiful valley view overlooking my hometown. With a queen bed, a pull-out sofa, full kitchen, shower in bathroom, laundry, and gas fireplace, the apt. is attached by an elevated deck to the main house, my childhood home, (which my husband and I call our "Hilltop Hospitality House"). We are excited to welcome gracious guests to this lovely space.

Nestled at the foot of the Loess Hills, this repurposed grain bin is a sight to see. Every inch of the inside has been customized for a relaxing and luxurious experience. Conveniently located just 30 minutes from downtown Omaha, as well as within a quick drive to numerous state parks. There is even an external electrical hook up for campers. Finally, our grain bin includes 20 acres of the Loess Hills to explore. We recommend hiking to the top of the ridge for sunset. It's breath taking.

The Grain Bin Lodge and Retreat

Sorry, no children under the age of 12. This large grain bin has been converted into a rustic two story getaway using reclaimed barn wood and many antiques. The 700 square foot main floor includes a full bath, a vintage retro kitchenette (micro wave, toaster, coffee maker, refrigerator/freezer, NO OVEN), reclining love seat, a smart tv with WIFI and Direct TV, along with a large dining area with 2 tables. The 500 square foot open loft area includes one full bed and 2 queen beds.

The Whiteboard Retreat

This unique upstairs apartment known as "The Whiteboard Retreat” features whiteboards on the walls for a true schoolhouse feel. Features include a king size bed, full size pull out couch, full kitchen, workspace, WiFi smart tv, cozy living area & in-unit laundry. This property is located on the East side of Black Hawk lake which offers fantanstic sunsets. The patio on the waters edge is great for basking in the sun or jumping from the dock for a swim. Evening fires at the waters edge is also a great way to close out days fun. The property includes a boat hoist and jet ski hoist so feel free to bring your own toys for convenient access while you enjoy your stay. The house was rully remodeled in 2006.
