It offers a rare opportunity to stay on the quieter east side of the lake—where you’ll enjoy close proximity to south lake attractions but the fewest neighbors, longer daylight hours and unforgettable sunset views over the water and Chief Joseph Mountain. Inside, Vesper’s Lakeview is a time capsule, featuring a retro warm and inviting living space with a cozy wood-burning fireplace—perfect after a day of exploring, hiking, or skiing nearby. The fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare meals at home, while high-speed fiber internet keeps you connected when needed. Large windows bring in natural light, capture sunsets over the lake, and showcase the surrounding scenery, making the outdoors feel like part of the experience. Step outside onto the spacious south-facing deck and take in panoramic lake and mountain views. Wildlife sightings are common here—keep an eye out for deer, foxes, and even eagles soaring overhead. The property also includes its own private network of hiking trails including direct access to the East Moraine right from the backyard, giving you private access to one of the area’s most scenic landscapes. The decks of the Chalets stand 26 ft above the ground creating some of the most surreal views that can be found anywhere in Wallowa County. Wallowa Lake is one of our favorite places to vacation with our kids and grandkids! We’ve spent countless valuable hours here and we are excited to share our favorite place with you and your family! Our home is comfortable for people of all ages. We bring our parents here and love that they have complete enjoyment of the full space inside and outside. They can sit on the deck & enjoy the family playing in the lake and get to be a part of the memories our kids and grandkids are making!

#06 - Cute cabin w/private Wallowa River access

Close enough to walk to the resort activities at Wallowa Lake but not right in the middle of everything making this the perfect place for relaxation and privacy! Even though the Wallowa River is in earshot of the cabin, there is an area of natural grass giving the impression of a barrier which is perfect for those more timid littles to want to stay in the yard until you are ready to take them to the water.
