Step outside onto the private deck and soak in the tranquility of the amazing views and beautiful countryside. Fish from the dock or rowing boat, or simply relax by the lakefront. Characterful, unique and secluded late 17th century grade-II listed weaver's cottage with private fenced garden situated in the suburb of Fartown 1.4 miles from Huddersfield town centre and train station. There are excellent links from the train station to Manchester airport, Leeds, York and London via Wakefield. Bus stops are close by (for Huddersfield and Bradford) and there is easy access to the M62 (approximately 2 miles away). Taxis are available from Huddersfield train station.

Beautiful country cottage renovated close to Dales

This is a beautiful country cottage. The entire cottage is to rent with 3 double bedrooms. The bedrooms are sumptuous with top of the range bedding feather pillows and feather duvets. There’s one king sized bed . 1 Queen sized bed and 1 double bed. I renovated the place top to bottom a few years ago . Guests will have 2 bathrooms. If you like minimalist style this may not be for you, however if you love character, cosyness and a home away from home, welcome to my cottage!

The house is situated in a small village approx 15 mins by car from Leeds City Centre. PLEASE NOTE : There is an additional Charge of £200.00 for the Hot Tub per stay.

Ridings Cottage is attached to the owners historic, victorian home with connections to the Bronte sisters. It is self contained with one spacious bedroom which has a very comfortable double bed and a pull out sofa bed. We are close to Dewsbury Hospital with easy access to Leeds, Huddersfield and Wakefield. M1 and M62 motorway links. We have made the cottage as comfortable as possible to ensure you enjoy your stay.
