Karekare had some significant flooding in February 2023. There are still some road works being completed. We inform guests about these at the time of the booking. Enjoy the peacefulness and amazing nature of west Auckland and only a short drive to the bright lights of the city and Auckland airport(25-30 min by car). We supply a welcome breakfast hamper for when you first arrive as you may not want to go shopping after a long journey, this does not get replenished.
