It boasts of its tranquil beauty & cozy atmosphere created with an indoor woodstove, spacious decks & a firepit all overlooking the lake. Many outdoor activities, with skating, icefishing & snowmobiling in winter & paddle boarding, kayaking, etc in the summer, plus endless amazing sunsets. Grab a book & sit by the fire, or enjoy a game of pool. Our goal is to have you relax, be comfy & enjoy your stay!

Nordic Cabin w/ Hot Tub & Sauna

At Hillwinds House, it’s all about taking a moment to disconnect from your busy life and reconnect with nature. Build a fire, read a book, brew some coffee, sweat in the sauna, soak in the hot tub (seasonally), prepare a nourishing meal, and watch the sun set over the valley in the west. We are excited to share our Alberta landscape with its beautiful sky, empty fields, and close up nature details. The 5 acres are filled with wildflowers in the summer, look closely and take a moment to enjoy.

Raspberry Castle

Let your adventure begin at Raspberry Castle. This three story tall tower has been hand constructed from bricks fired in Medicine Hat. John Jensen, a Danish engineer / bricklayer designed our wonderful castle with his family in the 70's. We've modernized and renovated the entire building to make it as comfortable as possible. Step into a cozy boho-inspired cabin retreat with vibrant charm and earthy textures. Perfect for 2 guests, with a queen bed, AC, fireplace, fridge, TV, linens and towels. Private bathroom/shower access via scan card. Enjoy access to our unique wellness area: soak in a hillbilly-style wood-burning hot tub (shared with one cabin), relax in the shared wood-burning sauna, or refresh in the cold plunge.
