Little Bear cabin is nestled along the Boreal forest w/Caswell creek flowing through the property. You will hear birds sing, wind blowing the leaves of the birch tree and watch fish in the creek from kayaks or on our private trails.Our cabins are a place to reconnect. Also a first choice area for outdoor activities! World class fly fishing, hunting,snow machining,dog sled tours, skiing,hiking,rafting and more! Simple Alaskan Beauty Cabin

A "Tiny Cabin", there is 1 full bed. No sleeper sofa. The kitchen counters are refurbished old barn doors, the long wall is pallet wood, the wood floors have been torched and sealed for a rustic look. The cabin is 12x20, perfect for two guests and a small child can sleep on the loveseat (not a pullout) There is one full bed in the cabin. It is a dry cabin, (no ability to shower) We do provide a counter top water system (5 gallon jugs) to freshen up and bottled water in the refrigerator.

The views from the large windows and deck are stunning. Try some fishing, skating, kayaking, swimming or walk the trails. Grilling on the deck or a bonfire ( ask for firewood) overlooking the lake are great evening activities. Not the outdoor type, you’ll find this a peaceful place to unwind. Located 13 miles from Wasilla makes this spot ideal as your hub to exploring Alaska. We are happy to host your pets(dogs only) pets not allowed in any beds. Excessive pet hair will be charged $50.

Close to Iditarod headquarters, Selters Bay Golf course, 30 minutes to Hatchers Pass, 1 hour to Talketna, fishing, hiking, breweries, mountains and much more. Our cabin is in a private wilderness setting on a beautiful stream. There is a wood-fired sauna for your year round use. In mid-July through mid-September salmon often swim by your deck. Our single room streamside cabin rests on the Southfork branch of Montana Creek, built from local spruce and birch. We do not have television or hot running water; our bathroom is a cozy outhouse.
