Nature's Dome

Escape to nature in a unique way with our secluded, forest getaway. Nestled in the heart of an indigenous forest in the Garden Route, our dome offers a perfect blend of luxury and wilderness. Our Dome is beautifully designed for comfort, with the indulgent outdoor living space blending seamlessly with nature encouraging guests to reconnect, relax and rejuvenate. As much as we would love to welcome all, the setting isn't child friendly and definitely offers a more wonderful getaway for two.

Pear Tree Cottage garden, pond and mountain view

Be enticed by the awakening of your senses. Smell the sweet scent of the flowers and fynbos, the serenade of the frogs, the sight of colorful birds, taste the aroma of fruits and veggies from our vegetable garden and orchard. Ideal for a couple or a couple with a child (not suitable for 3 adults). Mountain, garden, pond (filled with rainfall, season dependent. Not just a room in someone's house or sharing common areas. Your own little piece of tranquility. Our dogs roam freely in the property.

Hillandale Hideaway - a modern cabin near Plett

The Hideaway at Hillandale is a modern and totally off grid cabin tucked away in the forest with complete privacy and spectacular forest and mountain views! Enjoy amazing birdlife, tranquility and beautiful walks. Feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, but only 5 minutes to stunning beaches, 10 minutes from Plett , the Crags, Plett Winelands and a host of amazing wildlife places! With so much to keep you busy locally, it is a treat to come back to the Hideaway and feel away from it all!

Modern, peaceful escape with all comforts-sleeps 2

The Wood Owl is a safe, solar power backed-up, clean studio apartment with private terrace next to a forested area frequented by bushbuck & birds. There is a small kitchenette with quality wares and an ensuite bathroom with shower. It is situated within walking distance to lagoon, beach and restaurant. If you're lucky you'll hear the African wood owl at night. Fireflies sometimes light up the forest at dusk, the perfect backdrop for your outdoor braai (BBQ).

Forest Heart Cabin: Slipper Bath & Fireplace

Forest Heart Cabin is the perfect getaway. It is private and quiet, with a breath-taking view of the Knysna forest. If you're looking for a romantic getaway, champagne on the deck when you arrive and watch the sun rise over the mountains in the morning or soak in the luxurious slipper bath at sunset! The Cabin is ideally located and a 10-15 minute drive to Knysna, as well as the gorgeous Buffalo Bay Beach and a number of forest walks.

Tree-house for two in Natures Valley

Natures Valley offers the best of both worlds - peaceful and unspoilt and yet within a stones throw of the vibrant Garden route towns of Plettenberg Bay (30km) & Knysna (60km). The village itself comprises of just 300 houses, a shop and a restaurant. It is unique in that it is completely surrounded by the Tsitsikama National park. Aside from the stunning beach there is a large lagoon, which makes it ideal for all ages.

Cloud Cottage

Cloud Cottage is located on Voogsekraal estate. The estate stretches along the mountainous and truly breathtaking Prince Alfred Pass. The estate forms part of the Outeniqua Mountains. This means exquisite views, waterfalls and walks.  The cottage is nestled into the hillside, amidst rockery and fynbos. With no neighbouring farms, cell reception, nor electricity, one is able to experience a true getaway.

Tucked beneath the lush Tsitsikamma forest canopy, this modern open plan studio blends rustic warmth with cozy comfort. Large windows flood the space with natural light and forest views, creating a serene retreat for nature lovers, hikers or remote workers. Just a short walk to the lagoon, beach and hiking trails, it offers an ideal and peaceful base for exploring the pristine beauty of Nature's Valley.

Orchard View Cottage, Twee Riviere

This spacious, free-standing cottage in TWEE RIVIERE village, enjoys a restful, scenic position on the tree-rich campus grounds of The South African Institute for Heritage Science - home of the popular Belfry Kitchen restaurant! (Power for lights & water are backed up, and not subject to load shedding)

Tree House

An authentic adult tree house built into the bows of a growing rooi karee adult tree (rhuslancea). The dwelling is made of a variety of SA wood varieties and shaped around the stem and branches, allowing humans to live functionally within its arms

Suikerbossie Mountain Cabin

Soak up the peace and quietness while enjoying the true beauty that nature has to offer. The cabin was completed just before the lockdown. The building of the cabin was started by my husband and completed only 2 years later in remembrance of him.
