Home Farm Cabin is a comfortable retreat that has been constructed from timber milled on the property. There are sweeping valley views of native bushland. It is situated on a small farm with cattle and sheep. Guests enjoy sightings of kangaroos, wombats, echidnas, kookaburras & native birds. Local activities include trout fishing, hiking, kayaking, mushrooming, truffle hunts, Waldara weddings, sightseeing in the Blue Mountains, Jenolan Caves, Kanangra Walls and Mayfield Garden. The gorgeous 'Loughmore (pronounced lockh-more) Cottage' is an original Irish settlers slab hut, circa 1900. It is conveniently located in the heart of the village, Kangaroo Valley. Close to restaurants, cafes, an eclectic mix of shops, 'The Friendly Inn' pub and fun activities like canoeing and horse riding. The cottage is very cosy with a nostalgic ambience. It's the perfect place for the ultimate romantic getaway. Bed linen, towels and 20kg of firewood (Winter months only) are included.

StarGazer - Beautiful lake views

Mystic Ridge Estate offers ‘StarGazer'. Be amazed by the breathtaking panoramic lake views as the property is situated on the west ridge overlooking Lake George. The lake bed is visible during the dry years and the lake will slowly reappear during wet years. The lake is currently the fullest it’s been in many years. You are encouraged to view it before it dries up again! We have three accommodation choices on the property so please check out the other two listings!

Come and stay in this quaint mountain getaway. When it's winter, come and sit by the fire in the mist and fog or soak in the claw foot bath. When summer starts, roast in the warm sun surrounded by our beautiful garden. We are 10 minutes walk from the main street in Leura and only 5 mins from Mt Hay road which connects you to scores of bush walks including the trail to Lockleys Pylon and the Shortridge Pass to the Blue Gum walking track.
