This uniquely built barn situated in the Gold Coast hinterland is within walking distance to national parks. Made from recycled wharf timber, the barn is set on an 18 acre farm beset by green lawns. A king bed with ensuite, separate shower & bath make up the loft bedroom. Downstairs features a second bathroom / laundry, fire place, lounge, study & self inflating bed (inflatable bed linen not included), dining & fully equipped kitchen before walking onto a large deck overlooking the rainforest.

The Hillside Retreat in Tambourine Mountain is the ideal getaway with breathtaking views of the Gold Coast and the hinterland, with an outdoor swimming pool, a heated spa, garden and bbq facilities. Enjoy the calm and tranquillity of the mountain with trails to hike, while being a few minutes' drive from the distilleries, wineries, Gallery Walk, Skywalk, National Park, Botanic Garden, fine eateries and a golf course. Enjoy the plant filled space while you enjoy a breakfast of fresh bread, eggs from our chickens, cereal, condiments & coffee. At night light the fireplace with the wood provided & soak in the large tub. Take the picnic basket & rug provided, & explore the Mountain. We are located on the Main Road leading into Gallery Walk. If you are sensitive to road noise we might not be the perfect place for you.
