Luxuriate in our natural wood platform bed with a Casper memory foam mattress.

Drink your morning coffee on a sun-drenched deck and at night cozy up by the indoor fireplace.

Charming home centrally located in the Westbrae Berkeley neighborhood with local restaurant favorites, natural food markets, cafes and Solano Avenue all within walking distance. Easy access to local transit, freeway and conveniently located across from Ohlone bike trail & BART connecting much of the East Bay as well as a large open grass area featuring a ring of Redwoods and Codornices creek to explore. Your host family lives next door and will help you with anything you need during your stay.

Berkeley Hills Maybeck Cottage

Built in 1925, Maybecks' “Cubby” is your private, rustic, 750 sq ft, carriage house located less than a mile from Cal. Homey and basic - the deck is great for lunch, dinner, or just hanging out. It's an easy walk down to the gourmet ghetto, Thursday Markets, buses and BART. Carport provided, a car is recommended (hey it's located in the hills.) Not baby proofed, minimal fencing - sorry, no pets, babies or toddlers. Smoke free, no butts about it. Sorry, no loud music, or large gatherings.

Private North Berkeley In-law unit

This completely private portion of our North Berkeley home is usually available only Fri, Sat, and Sun nights, except where otherwise indicated on the calendar. If you plan to leave on Monday, check out will need to be early (9:00am). We usually cannot be flexible on that as we use it for other purposes Mon-Fri most weeks.
