A short 7 minute drive to the historic town of Clifton Forge (small shops, restaurants, and grocery). Fully furnished. WiFi throughout. Ample parking. Great view of the stars at night!

The Guest House

WE DO NOT HAVE CABLE TV. UP A FLIGHT of STAIRS is a spacious apartment next to The Historic Masonic Theatre in the center of town. The building is built above Smith Creek and the comforting sound will lull you to sleep. The mattresses are comfy pillow tops and we have plenty of seating. You will be within walking distance of many restaurants and stores. Unfortunately this listing is not handicapped accessible due to the stairs and if you have any allergies be aware we allow guests to have dogs.

Set in the beautiful Alleghany Mountain Range, the Cabin On The Creek is a custom-built luxury cabin with amazing views and access to Potts Creek on a private wooded property. Multiple outdoor areas to enjoy the sights and sounds of the creek include the back porch, observation deck with Adirondack chairs, and walking path that leads to a stunning view of the Potts Creek “Sinks.” Enjoy the tranquil natural environment as you make use of the outdoor grill, picnic area, fire pit, and hot tub.

Escape to a serene cabin to watch the sun rise over the mountain from a screened-in porch or sleep in and have a river beach picnic later. Charming 2 bedroom 1 bath guest house sleeps four looking over the Cowpasture River on a 350 acre working farm. Guest may use of our concrete tennis court and explore miles of hiking trails that lead to the national forest. Farm is surrounded by over 2.5 miles of the Cowpasture River. There is a gravel beach right beside the bridge entering the farm where one can enjoy wading and swimming. River here is 3-4 feet deep depending on the season and stream flow.
