'Number 10' is located in the heart of the village of Cullipool, on the slate Island of Luing. It has been fully renovated recently. The original part of the building was built around 1800 with the extension being added in 1980. It was originally a 'but & ben' (2 rooms) built to house the workers of the slate quarries in Cullipool. The view from the garden speaks for itself with views across the Firth or Lorn to Mull. 'Number 10 has a lovely enclosed garden, the perfect place to relax.

The guest accommodation does have a seperate entrance and the whole of the ground floor is for guest use with 2 double bedrooms and modern bathroom consisting of double width shower, sink and toilet. Maida's cottage is situated on the edge of the village of Ford, close to Loch Ederline. There is a private driveway to the cottage with a farm gate to keep the sheep on the hill. There is ample parking and a gated/fenced private garden. Although on the edge of the village, Maida's cottage feels remote with a rather stunning backdrop. There are many hills to walk. There is no TV or WiFi, this is a cosy getaway from hectic lives so sit back and enjoy the log fire with a good book.
