Gundaroo retreat is located on the fringe of the Barossa Valley and set on 50 acres of picturesque land with rolling farmland, trees and hills. Perfect for a romantic getaway or a girls weekend away. The cottage is set in a scenic location and provides a pleasing blend of rustic charm with modern conveniences. It has 2 bedrooms with queen size beds, a cosy wood fire and a lovely deck to relax and enjoy your morning coffee. We provide breakfast provisions for the first day of milk and cereal.

Charmaine and Steve are the hosts at Halletts Valley Hideaway - a luxurious self-contained cottage tucked away amidst vineyards on the outskirts of Tanunda, in the heart of the beautiful Barossa Valley. The property was rebuilt from the ground up in 2017, blending original timber beams and local stone with contemporary design to offer guests a haven of peace and comfort. Set on 80acres in the heart of the Barossa Valley this private, self-contained guest wing is surrounded by vineyard and gardens. Our retreat gets you back to nature... with vineyard and scrub walks, (accompanied by at least one of our Border Collies), friendly geese, an inquisitive free-roaming peacock, hens, rescued & wild kangaroos, the occasional Koala and a myriad of birdlife. Take in the views from the verandas, sit by the campfire (during the cooler months) or relax in the hammock.

Vineyard Views, hidden in the ridges of Menglers Hill near Angaston, on a working-vineyard, delivers everything you need for your next weekend getaway in the Barossa. With Angaston a five-minute drive in one direction and world class wineries a five-minute drive in another, Vineyard Views has you covered. You can stay in and watch the sunset from the deck with a glass of shiraz, or you can use the peaceful location as a base to visit nearby cellar doors and other Barossa attractions.

Barossa 1900 Vineyard Retreat

Barossa 1900 offers luxury vineyard accommodation for 10 people in the Barossa Valley, one hour’s drive from Adelaide. The private two-acre property is home to some of the Barossa’s oldest dry-grown Grenache grapes and is located a short walk to cellar doors, restaurants, breweries and retail shopping in Tanunda. As a sister property to Barossa 1900 Homestead, together these two properties sleep 18 people. We offer generous inclusions and private winemaker tastings by appointment.

The interior has been totally renovated and modernised. With 3 large bedrooms all with king beds and the luxury of an ensuite for each bedroom Stay and feel like a local in our beautiful home you wont want to leave

‘Para River Cottage’ Built in 1920 overlooking the gum studded cliff face of the North Para River, this quaint and cosy cottage has been elegantly restored for your fulfilment. Embrace the quiet rural feel of native birdsong and scattered sheep across the way, all whilst being within a short stroll of the heart of Tanunda. It’s a great spot to discover the Barossa Valley and a lovely neighbourhood. I have so many great memories here, and I’m convinced that you will too.

There is no better place to relax: soak in the gorgeous claw-foot bath looking out to the stars, enjoy that glass of local red by the fire, or try out our apple crumble recipe in the vintage wood-fired Aga.
