Welcome in our charming cottage with the sounds of the little river, frogs and the ocean in the background. Betty's Bay is well known for its unspoiled nature, mountain, fynbos, beaches, lakes and gorgeous African (jackass) penguins. The penguins are within walking distance. The famous Harold Porter Botanical gardens is 5 minutes drive away. Betty's Bay has endless hiking, surfing, angling and snorkeling opportunities. A local grocery store is about 700 metres from the house.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil off the grid getaway, situated in a quiet cul de sac next to a greenbelt, with easy access to splendid Silversands beach and hiking/mountain biking on your doorstep. Soak in the hot bath outside or simply enjoy the expansive views across the veld from your stoep, while the fire pit lights up the night sky. Blesberg cottage reflects an authentic South African identity; designed by leading regional architect Raymond Smith.

The property is surrounded by indigenous gardens, making the cottage ideally suited to those seeking a connection with nature, and a space in which to relax and recharge.

The sand dunes are 15 meters from the house, and the beach a 3 minute walk Great for 1 or 2 families with up to 6 children, or 3 couples. Please note: not suitable for more than 6 adults. The house is set up with a well equipped kitchen, in- and outdoor braai, board/lawn games and a TV with Netflix.
