The nearest amenities are 2miles in Evanton or 5miles to the ancient Burgh of Dingwall. Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat 9-5pm). My place is good for NC500 travellers, couples, and business travellers.

"This 1 bed cottage is situated in the heart of the beautiful Ballater, Royal Deeside. It has just been newly renovated making it a bit of luxury for you to relax and enjoy your stay. The recently renovated Cottage boasts a wood burning fire in the open plan family room which opens up onto the patio via French Doors. Settle into the evening with a cosy fire, we provide a basket of logs to get you going on your first night but you way wish to bring more for the remainder of your stay.

Idyllic Farmhouse in Stunning Deeside Location

Blackness Farmhouse is a traditional cottage still retaining many of its original features. Bathrooms and kitchen have been modernized, open fires replaced for wood burners and carpeting added to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The cottage was our home while we converted the nearby barns into our new house. and although storage was tight for a busy family of 6, we loved our time living there and always felt it would make a perfect holiday home. This characterful 2 bedroom cottage in rural Monzie (listed in The Times top 50 cottages) is furnished to a high standard with gorgeous interiors. The landscape and surrounding scenery is breathtaking and being one mile down a private road a real retreat from busy everyday life, with nature and wildlife in abundance.

Hayfield Cottage

Hayfield Cottage is a category C listed cottage built in approx. 1850, and fully renovated between 2015 and 2017. It is located on Auchendryne Square in Braemar, a few hundred yards from The Princess Royal and Duke of Fife Memorial Park where the annual Braemar Gathering takes place. Hayfield Cottage is fully insulated and centrally heated. The two wood burning stoves aren't needed to keep the house warm and cosy, but they can be a welcome addition in the winter.

Thornbank is a snug and simple timber built holiday cottage in the heart of the village of Braemar.  Paragliding, mountain biking, skiing, walking or perhaps a relaxing holiday at one with nature?  Here you can indulge in all the activities that the Upper Dee Valley and Cairngorms National Park have to offer, then return to a cosy hearth and home. We are located in the centre of the village, but set back behind the road in a quiet spot with woods to the rear.
