Trail View house, Blue Derby views near bike trail

Trail View is our special spot in Derby. Historically steeped in the mining past, our bedrooms look out of lead light sunray's to the moss laden forest below as does the deep bath with unlimited hot water for bathing and showers. A relaxing , tranquil and private home with everything we need to revive the senses after an adventurous day on the trails. The wood burning heaters and fire pit circle provides us a cosy area to gather where stories are told and memories made.

Roxannes at Derby - Set on 3 acres.

Known to the locals as the bottle house, the original old cottage has plenty of character with bottles cemented into the wall around the fire place and a wagon wheel set into a stone wall. A recently completed extension has added 2 Large Bedrooms with views of the lavish hills, the property faces north catching the sun. Set on 3 acres gives it a real country living feeling while only 7 mins walk to the Dorset Hotel and 5 min ride to the Trail Head.

Kersbrook Cottage near Derby

Our newly-renovated cottage is located half way between Derby and Weldborough, about a ten minute drive to both destinations. The property is peaceful and quiet , surrounded by hilly pastures and direct access to a fully fenced native forest with a few MTB trails for a short ride (Kersbrook Stash) and other areas for walks. It is great for couples, MTB riders and specially families because Minishredders Babysitting Service is just next door.

Set in our historic 1891 church hall, the Studio offers a charming, self-contained space with a queen bed built into the original stage, a cozy living area, modern kitchenette, and stylish bathroom. Riverside Roost, aptly named after the legendary "Big Chook" MTB track, is a newly renovated three bedroom miner's cottage situated in the heart of Derby. Conveniently located 250 metres from the trail centre, The Hub - Pizza and beer store, and an 11 second run to the Dorset pub (in workboots), the Roost provides everything you need to enjoy your time away in the beautiful Derby.

The former St Johns church of Branxholm has been transformed into a spacious, character filled home. The bike temple features large living and dining areas , brand new bathroom and laundry, fully-equipped kitchen and everything needed to accompany days spent on the trails.
