Property is gated, guest have there own access and free to roam the property. We like to give guest there own space, however either myself or a staff member are always available and happy to help. Visit the Huguenot Memorial Museum to learn about local history. Uber is recently available in Franschhoek but does have a limited presence (after 11pm/12pm). A whitewashed stone cottage. DIE KLIPHUISIE is situated on a 100 ha working wine and fruit farm with 360-degree mountain views. The cottage is a perfect destination for a couple, but can sleep up to four people in 2 inter-leading bedrooms. It is fully equipped for self catering with a 2 plate gas stove, bar fridge, crockery, cutlery, bed-linen, towels and a braai area (barbeque) with a vine-covered pergola.

About an hour and a half from Cape Town, near the Nuy valley, Amandalia farm is home to Saggy Stone Brewery and now 6 unique A-Frame cottages situated within a private nature reserve. Another 2 stone cottages complete the bouquet of accommodation.

Klaasvoogds Cottage, 90m2, minimally affected by loadshedding, offers a charming, luxurious self-catering cottage on a working farm. It has a gas stove, solar geyser and an inverter so TV, lights, fridge and wifi not affected at all. It is well-equipped for long stays, centrally located in the Robertson wine valley on route 62. Enjoy lovely views of the vineyards, orchards and moutains.
