(I am in process of updating my photos, )The bunkhouse is a private guest suite...separate from house, with it's own shady deck, lake view, and lots of private beach. It is a NON-SMOKING property. This means no smoking anywhere.. Pets are allowed ( dogs) if meet guidelines listed in "other details". ( I also have a guestroom in the house that is listed on Airbnb that sleeps 2 ) I will consider allowing 1 perhaps 2 dogs, MAKE SURE you read additional info in "Other Details" below..

If you’re looking for quietness, serenity and relaxation, this is the place. 1.5 hour drive from central Austin. Walk right into the water from the back yard - bring your kayaks! Sit on the porch and watch the wildlife - bring your camera. Neighborhood is great for walking or cycling. Since 1972, family memories have been made here.

It's also a great central location for Enchanted Rock, Longhorn Cavern, Pedernales State Park and historic Fredericksburg. Canoe (1) and kayaks (three touring/fishing and one whitewater) included in rental. Nearby attractions include Longhorn Caverns, Inks Lake State Park, National Fish Hatchery, wineries, and restaurants in nearby towns of Marble Falls and Kingsland.
