We named Moon Bay Cottage for our favorite time to visit, when the moon is full, and the moonlight shimmers on the waters of Penobscot Bay. With hiking trails in the Pine Tree Preserve that adjoins the property and the Lobster Cove Meadow Preserve a five minute walk up the road, you can also explore nature and enjoy the solitude of the woods.

There is plenty of sight-seeing in this picturesque area. Rockland is just 10-minutes away where you can enjoy shopping, restaurants, museums, galleries, lighthouses and festivals.

Owls Head Oceanview Cottage Cedar Hot Tub/Sauna

This ocean view cottage on the side of Mt Battie has a master suite with a private bathroom and a wood burning fireplace, a living room with a queen sofa bed and another wood burning fireplace, sauna, a large 6 ft wide Maine Cedar hot tub off the back deck. Hiking trails to Mt Battie summit and the rest of Camden Hills State park are accessible from our parking lot.

This newly renovated, cozy getaway is an ideal escape for a couple, small family or friends. Less than 20 minutes from the charming oceanside towns of Rockland and Camden, the cottage is named after Seven Tree Pond, offering guests waterfront views in the winter, with lake access (boat launch, picnic area, and swimming access) less than a 5 minute drive.
