Situated one block from Town Square, Rothesay Cottage consists of the front rooms of an original 1870s home, moved from Newbury by steam tractor in 1928. The overall style is a hybrid of 1870s and 1920s Art Deco to reflect its history. Your queen room boasts a stunning period bedroom suite complete with ensuite. Your snug (cosy lounge) includes the original operational Edwardian fireplace with a modern cupboard kitchenette. The front verandah has been enclosed to create a sunroom with daybed.

The space: recently renovated, living room & fireplace, gas stove kitchen (no oven) with all you need to consume delicious local produce, lofted bedroom & beautiful bathroom. Union House is a unique part of Castlemaine's history. Built in the early 1860's in the central area of the town, it is a minutes walk from all the town's attractions- the galleries, restaurants, hotels, theatre, boutiques, supermarket, and easy walking distance to the gardens, regional parks, railway station, and the Woollen Mill complex. The cottage has been recently renovated to amalgamate its historic features with contemporary comforts and luxurious appointments.

STONE EDGE is a beautiful & tranquil property set in a lovely garden located in a prime position close to the Botanical Gardens, "The Mill" & Castlemaine Town. The property consists of a main cottage & two beautiful sandstone cottages "North" & "South". These two can be let out separately or together. Both cottages have super comfy king size beds & each is unique in character.

Adsum Farmhouse, located in the hamlet of Glenlyon, just 10 minutes to Daylesford by car and 1 and a half hours from Melbourne. The room, is part of the original surveyors home of the gold rush era and held the shire council meetings for the area in the early 1900's. You will feel the elegance and presence of the past when you stay here.

As seen on ABC TV series, "Australian Restoration" (Gervasoni site) this beautifully restored old stone blacksmiths building is now a comfortable villa comprising bedroom with sitting room, bathroom, private courtyard and fenced yard with fire pit and wine barrel swing.
