Away from a main road, up a private driveway is Claret Ash Cottage. Just a few paces from the front door is an organic flower and herb garden where plants are cultivated for skin care products. You are welcome to explore the 33 acre property and a must see is the panoramic view from the hill. The quiet tree lined dirt road behind is a perfect walking trail. This farm is 35 mins from Adelaide and only 10 mins drive to shops or local eateries. We invite you to experience life on a working farm.

Self contained cottage set on a 10acre alpaca farm with amazing sunset views of the ocean from a guest deck. 25mins from the Adelaide CBD, 15mins to McLaren Vale wineries or the beach, 3 mins to several Adelaide Hills wineries & the quaint town of Clarendon.Guests are welcome to interact with the alpacas, enjoy the gardens and browse the farm shop. Chesterdale is in the heart of Kuitpo forest on 32 acres, surrounded by 8,900 acres of pine plantations and native forests. Perfect for walking and riding, the Heysen and Kidman trails are accessible through our back gate. Famous McLaren Vale and Adelaide Hills wineries are nearby. While the guest suite is attached to the main house, it is quite separate and totally private. A 50 minute drive from Adelaide’s CBD and a 20 minute drive from southern beaches, it is perfect for a weekend escape.

Sit by the wood combustion fire & warm your soul or lie in until lunchtime in soft linen sheets, listening to birdsong. Lost in the Vines is a very private space in the McLaren Vale wine district, surrounded by vines & views, with lots of great walks, wineries & restaurants nearby. The house is all yours but I am generally around if you have any queries. Walk, ride, read or just kick back.
