If you are looking for a get-away experience with a beautiful mountain backdrop, this is it. Nestled into 300+ private acres of cattle land and woods, our cabin overlooks rolling pastures and the Blue Ridge Mountains. Plenty of adventures are nearby too - world-class white-water rafting on the Ocoee River, or for a quieter adventure, try fly-fishing or tubing down the Hiwassee River. And as this is a working cattle farm, premium beef is usually available for purchase while you're here.

The Cabin

Our cabin is fully furnished with two bedrooms, a open loft, two full bathrooms and a half bath, kitchen, laundry room, and a full basement on 9+ acres. The driveway is approximately 300 feet from boat ramp access to the Tennessee River. There’s also a separate covered shed for a boat and/or parking. There are lots of indoor and outdoor games, a grill for outdoor cooking, two fire pits, a large deck, a nature observation tower, 2 kayaks and a canoe, and a variety of swings to enjoy.

A cozy camping cabin nestled in a beautiful grove of trees and only steps away from Gee Creek. Bordering Cherokee N.F & Hiwassee/Ocoee State Park, this little nest is your basecamp. Endless outdoor adventures await you. If a more chill weekend is what your looking for, then hit up the local Mennonite Market & Winery. Queen log bed & gear storage area attached. Only a short walk down the pebbled path to the bathhouse, outdoor kitchen sink, & coffee bar. WIFI in the cabin & outside.

Designed for two couples or a small group, with two private California King bedrooms (each with its own private bathroom) and shared living space that makes gathering easy. Discover the perfect hideaway on the shores of the famous Ocoee River, The Pines at Welcome Valley Village, a Timberroot Rustic Retreat. Our most private riverside cabin, The Pines has a large porch overlooking the river, complete with a 6-foot porch swing and dining table for six. The Pines can comfortably sleep a total of seven guests and features a private outdoor fire pit with comfortable seating by the riverside.

Drive 4 miles to downtown Chattanooga to enjoy some of the best restaurants, art and music in the south, and then retreat to our one-room, tiny cabin on a private two acre wooded lot on the side of Lookout Mountain. Walk out the front door and onto Glenn Falls trail and explore the year-round majesty of Lookout Mountain. 10 minutes from Rock City and Ruby Falls.

Little Farmhouse in the Country

My cozy 74 yr. old farmhouse is at the end of a long gravel drive, surrounded by nothing but woods and the tranquility of nature! Enjoy the country front porch as you watch the sunset and the playful antics of my goats and their guardian dog, a Great Pyrenees named Sampson, who happily lives with his 8 friends….Mable, Callie, Mama, Fluffy, Billy, Blanche, Rose, & Dorothy.
