Round The Bend which is maintained to a high level sits within the heart of the very quiet village Odcombe. The Masons Arms pub is just a short walk away, serving real ales and food. Brympton House which hosts many weddings and events is just over a mile away making us the perfect location. Also neighbouring Odcombe is the lovely village of Montacute which boasts the beautiful National Trust owned Montacute House. The King's Arms pub which is also in Montacute serves great food and real ale.

Myrtle cottage is a modern, dedicated living space annexed to our 17th century thatched cottage. Pitney itself is a delightful small village situated above The Levels. There is a traditional pub serving real ales, local ciders and great home cooked food and the superb Pitney Farm shop offering organic meat and veg from the mixed farm & market garden. The area offers lovely walks directly from our garden up into the hills at High Ham or down on to The Levels and the river Carey.

The Annex provides a completely self contained accommodation with it's own entrance and external keybox, enabling independent access. Fully refurbished self catering accommodation in a conservation area on the edge of Merriott village. Ideal for vacationing, users of the National Cycle path (30) or business users. The property is not suitable for pets. An 'exterior only' CCTV camera is fitted to the main house, to maintain the security on the driveway approach to the Annex.

Self Contained Annexe Minutes From Montacute House

Situated on the outskirts of the beautiful village of Montacute. We are blessed to have the Elizabethan Montacute House of Wolf Hall fame which is considered a masterpiece of Renaissance architecture. The house’s long gallery is the longest of its kind in England and displays Tudor and Elizabethan portraits loaned by the National Portrait Gallery.
