Our petting zoo has 6 of the sweetest Nigerian Dwarf Goats, chickens, and the star of the show, BoMama our miniature donkey. Make a bonfire or visit a number of wineries, fishing holes, mountain hikes, snowboarding and skiing, boating, 4x4 trails, skydiving, scenic mountain towns, historical museums, national parks and more.

Large Vega Lake Colorado Real Log Cabin

Open year round, this spectacular 5300+ sq ft log cabin/lodge is a 1-hr drive from Grand Junction Airport. Nestled in an aspen grove overlooking Vega Lake, the cabin sleeps 17 people (kids included) and parks up to 8 vehicles. Wildlife abounds and the lake is full of trout (some up to 5 lbs). Outdoor equipment is offered free of charge (see list below) to enhance your stay. An expansive covered deck has a propane grill for BBQs and there is an outdoor fire pit for fireside evenings.

Built on the site of the Harvey Gap mine and a half minute drive to Harvey Gap State Park, this cozy mining themed private guest suite (attached to our home) is a base camp for your adventures. Our Dream Ranch sits on 70 gorgeous acres with room to hike to the Colorado River that borders our property. Relax at the stocked fishing pond or have a fire in our firepit. Golfing right across the road. Activity Center within 2 miles. Ski Resorts 45 minutes away. Very quiet and peaceful. You can bring horses for an additional fee of $20.00/horse/limit 2 horses.
