One with ensuite bathroom and the other a bathroom just across the hall. Lots of private parking space outside the house.

There are three reception rooms, two with wood burners and two kitchens with granite work surfaces. Five very comfortable bedrooms await you with old oak floors and beams and a 6th mezzanine bedroom. A large master bedroom has a modern ensuite. There’s a lovely family bathroom with a shower and roll-top bath upstairs and a wet room downstairs.

Welcome to Highside a delightful cottage set in a secluded location overlooking the tranquil village of Lorton. Dating back to 1695 (as engraved on the fireplace in the kitchen), the cottage retains many original features but has been sympathetically modernised. The cottage resides within our farm, Terrace Farm with open countryside and panoramic views of the Lakeland Fells and numerous Wainwrights including Melbreak, Whiteside, Low Fell, Hopegillhead to name but a few.
