The Gumbo Getaway is a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom cabin with a king bed and a full sofa sleeper in the living room. Our cabin was built in 2021. We welcome our guests to come enjoy our cozy spot in the hill country with the convenience of staying only 15 mins from Main Street in Fredericksburg. **Guests are permitted to walk the road starting at the cattle guard entrance and ending at The Lagniappe Lodge. (The LL has a big rock sign out front.) Do not walk past the Lagniappe Lodge.**

This place is magical for those who value nature and a gorgeous view! We are located a short fifteen-minute drive from downtown Fredericksburg.
