Our guesthouse is ready to host the most discerning traveler. You will appreciate the clean private guesthouse that is located on a quiet neighborhood street in a newer central subdivision that is close to all that SW Missouri has to offer. Please note that we offer a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, dishes, and utensils in the kitchen area, there is no stove/ oven. Parties and events are not allowed. Any extra guests need to have prior approval from the host before they arrive on site.

The fireplace can crackle & burn with or without heat, so you can feel cozy even when it's hot out. The kitchen is perfection & well stocked with all you need.

The Writers Cabin

Surrounded by 20 acres of woods.Take it easy at this tranquil getaway. It’s over 100 year old well house that has been converted into a cozy home. 1 mile from the Interstate 49 and miles South of downtown Joplin just 1 mile from 32nd just off Rangeline. This is a secluded property which is referred to locally as the “House on the Hill”. I defy you to find a nicer hotel room in the area, coffee and breakfast items provided. I do check ID to match profile, Must be at least 25 yrs old to rent.

Historic Schifferdecker Cottage

Built in 1846 and secluded on 5 gorgeous acres bordering Turkey Creek on the west and a paved walking trail on the south, this charming cottage was the home of Charles Schifferdecker, where he brewed his beer to sell in the "mining camp" called Joplin. Ironic to its seclusion, it is literally one block from the corner convenience store and mere minutes from such local destinations as MSSU, OCC & Joplin High School, as well as many restaurants and retail stores on Rangeline and Main Street.

This home is located within 5-15 minutes to everything in Joplin, Carthage or Neosho and yet secluded in nearby Duneweg. Duneweg is a suburb of Joplin and is very close to where I44 and 249 merge! Making it easy to get place to place or back up on the interstate after a nights rest! This home is located on a quiet street with a tranquil wooded area and pull through parking.

Azelia is a dedicated vacation rental. The master king suite has its own bathroom. Bedroom 2 has a king and bedroom 3 has a queen. Both share the hall bathroom. There is parking for two in the driveway and another two in the garage. The open floor concept makes the living room, dining room, & kitchen area a large space for everyone together in. There’s a good size back patio and large private fenced in backyard. 

The Treehouse Galena Kansas

Stairs and dock are available for easy access to the river. Great fishing. Kayaks and canoe available also tubes for floating. Continental breakfast, lots of drinks and snacks. Sit on the spacious deck and watch the wildlife. Enjoy the quiet surroundings. You won’t find a little vacation getaway any better in our area. Come experience the quiet & the beautiful surroundings.

Close to town without the crowds. minutes from the crossroads of i49 & i44 we are easy to get to. close to the restaurant district & shopping. setting in the corner of 10 acres at the end of the road. our horses will greet you, expecting a treat… still working on stalls and landscaping, please excuse the mess.

This renovated space is on the second floor* of an historic downtown building just steps off the original Route 66. *Climbing steps is required. The staircase is wide, solid, with sturdy handrail, and has a landing halfway up. We're happy to help carry luggage, if that's an issue.
