The 2 bedroom apartment is on the 2nd floor of a 19th century house (we live on the 1st floor). It is only 3 metro stops from Midi train Station and can accommodate up to 4 people. Please note that our apartment is not suitable for children under 12. The apartment has been fully renovated and tastefully furnished to make you feel at home: fully equipped kitchen, spacious living room, a suite with a king double bed, an studio with a sofa bed, shower & bathtub, washing machine, wifi, cable TV....

Our high-end duplexapartment is very accessibly located in between the 'Kouter' (rectangle square where the Flemish Opera is) and the medieval center (St-Bavo-Cathedral, Graslei, Korenmarkt, Gravensteen to name a few highlights). Brand new, comfortable and classy, with a library-staircase which is not only an eyecatcher. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Sunny terrace! We called our gem "LaCasitaBelMundo”, just adding the dot Gent, to get the full picture.

In 2019 we started the renovation, with as only purpose, to keep the soul and respect the history and grandeur of the original house. Onze woning is de oude woning van de architect in het dorpje Haasdonk. Op het gelijkvloers hebben we onze Airbnb ingericht, waar voorheen de tekentafels stonden. Haasdonk is nog een groene long, gelegen tussen Gent en Antwerpen. Het is de ideale uitvalsbasis om cultuur, kunst of historie op te snuiven in een van beide steden. Of bezoek Hof ter Saksen, ons prachtig parkbos, het fort van Haasdonk of wandel en mountainbike op een van de vele paden in de bossen van Haasdonk.

Recently renovated studio with wooden floors and high ceilings. Situated in a quiet neighbourhood between UZ, de Sterre and Gent St-Pieters railway station; tram stop around the corner (line 3 towards Gent railway station and Gent city centre). Flexible check-in (contact the host) Public parking nearby. Ghent St-Pieters Station is 15 min. away on foot. If you want a pleasant stay in the most beautiful city of Flanders, I would say don't hesitate... this is the perfect base!
