Our spacious country house, located directly on Sinking Creek, is the perfect getaway space for nature lovers or anybody who just wants to relax to the soothing water as it flows by. In the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, guests are only one mile from the Appalachian Trail, and some the most beautiful hiking in the state, including Cascades Falls, are only a short drive away. Additionally, the New River, with its kayaking, canoeing, boating and tubing, is only 20 minutes away.

Calling Bird watchers, Golfers(Castle Rock), fisherman(New River), canoe and kayakers or those that love to sit by the river and watch it flow. Easy river access for kayaks and canoes on the property near Pembroke boat launch for boats with motors. Finish your day around the campfire overlooking the water. Natural wildlife sightings are common.

Cabin on the Creek

This 1 room cabin with kitchenette (2 top burner, small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker) with full bath is set on Toms Creek, fifteen minutes drive from Virginia Tech and the town of Blacksburg. The space itself is private, rustic and charming even though we live just next door. We thank you for no pets, vaping or smoking inside the cabin and we are happy to share that our onsite managers, Ray and Mara, will be handling all inquiries on our behalf.

Our house is really special & unique. We want you to come enjoy the space! HUGE Private one room off the back of the house. We share a wall and you will hear us. Room comes with living room area, tv, king size bed, large private master bath, ability to set temperature (within range). Kitchenette amenities available, coffee maker, microwave, fridge, toaster oven and George Foreman. If something you need isn't on the list let us know!

Unplugged retreat-Yellowstone Cabin at Rock Spring

Enjoy an unplugged and private retreat at our Yellowstone Cabin! This cabin is located at our Rock Springs property which is surrounded by 150 beautiful creekside, wooded, and meadow acres. Includes 3 queen beds, 1 full bathroom, a full kitchen, outdoor firepit, grill, and picnic table. This is the perfect place to enjoy relaxation or adventurous activities such as fee fishing, hiking, caving, white water rafting, and so much more!

LJ Manor

Welcome to LJ Manor, a beautifully remodeled farmhouse dating back to the 1880s. Nestled in the serene countryside, this historic home offers the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Located just a short drive to Virginia Tech, the New River and numerous hiking trails including the famous Cascades, LJ Manor is the ideal retreat for nature lovers, history enthusiasts, and those simply seeking a peaceful getaway.

Modern Cabin w/ Hot Tub - Romantic Retreat

The Cabin is a luxurious rural escape, with a 3-person hot tub. Located on a permaculture homestead and native plant sanctuary, the space overlooks the garden and is surrounded by forest. Natural/local materials were used throughout (built in 2023). For larger groups, check out the guest house next door (Airbnb: Guest House on Homestead near Floyd/Blacksburg). ~10 miles to Floyd, ~20 miles to Blacksburg, ~35 miles to Roanoke.

Free rides (drop off and pick up) for VT football games.

This house was renovated to its earlier 20th century glory with 2 full bathrooms, 2 bedrooms & 2 living spaces with 2 pull-out couches and a kitchen. It has a wrap around porch and porch swing. The cottage is 100 feet from the New River and 50 feet from the N&W railroad, with the train running close by.
