Free WI-FI now available. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers and families (with kids). The Cottage is a quaint, Cape Cod style house built in 1950. It sits high on a hill in the heart of Maryland's Appalachian Mountains in Allegany County. It is surrounded by views of Wills Mountain and Shrivers Ridge. The Cottage sits amongst a 660 acre family managed forest. Visitors have spotted deer, turkey, rabbits, squirrels, black bear and a multitude of song birds.

The Acorn Palace is a treehouse-like tiny house perched high in the woods, surrounded by trees, with spectacular views of the forest and Rocky Gap State Park from the front porch and windows on all sides. It's perfect for those who want to escape to nature, but like their creature comforts: micro-kitchen, tiny woodstove, fire-ring, wi-fi, heat, A/C, hand-washing sink and incinerating toilet. A short walk down the hill is the hot-water shower, flush toilets and sinks (shared with other guests).

Country Life! You will find yourself in between Sidling Hill and Town Hill of Western Maryland, right in the middle of small residental and farm community. With three bedrooms you can sleep up to 6 people in beds and there are two couches. Two livings rooms allow one room for quiet setting and another with a fireplace and tv.
