It is located on a quiet street - five minutes' walk from the cafés, galleries, independent and vintage shops of Frome in one direction, and wonderful walks into the surrounding villages and Somerset countryside in the other.

Fern Tree is a special compact, bijou and quirky 300 hundred year old cottage situated in the heart of the conservation area in the historic town of Frome. Feel the atmosphere as you walk in that only time can create. It has a master bedroom with a king size bed. The second bedroom one single bed has stairs to the attic room, no door. attic room has 2 single beds and a 6th person is a mattress on the floor A wooden, well equipped kitchen leads you out to a beautiful peaceful sunny courtyard.

This newly fitted, self-contained apartment is a peaceful retreat just a seven minute riverside walk to the heart of historic Frome. Our Cabin is set in a secluded spot with lovely views overlooking farmland, horse paddocks and the surrounding countryside. There are many footpaths in the area. A 10 minute walk will take you into ancient Postlebury Woods or to our small aesthetic lake. Imagine coming back from a long relaxing walk or maybe from shopping and exploring the Roman city of Bath to a warming meal in the cabin followed by marshmallows over the firepit. If you'd like to bring your horse with you we can arrange it!
