You’ll love Scott Hill Cabin because of the view, ambience, and location. There are brochures in the cabin to see what options our area has for you. The actual address of the cabin is 1166 Orchard Road. We allow pets, but just ask for prior knowledge. We are just minutes from 2 separate trailheads to the Appalachian Trail. Despite the listing saying 2 beds, it is in fact, 1 double bed. Sorry for the listing mistake. We want to extend a military discount to our past and present service members.

The Haven on The Virginia Creeper Trail

Located on the Virginia Creeper bike trail, we are only a 20 min. drive from the summit of beautiful Whitetop Mtn. If hiking and biking are your thing, this is the place to stay, as we are 3 miles from the Appalachian Trail, and a 20 min. drive to Grayson Highlands state park. Downtown Damascus is a 25 min. drive, and Abingdon is 40 minutes. Both towns have cute shops, restaurants, coffee, parks, and antique stores. Bristol is located approx. 50 min. from our home, and Boone, NC about an hour.

Ruby's Rest

NO CLEANING FEES. NO TO DO LISTS BEFORE CHECKING OUT. NO PET FEES. Cozy, private one room cottage (with bathroom), run by a loving, easy-going, non-judging family. Cottage measures 12' x 24' (total of 288sq. feet). Very relaxed environment. Flat rate of $50.00. UPDATE: Deck is now enclosed with old window panes. Super cozy. Has a sink with hot/old water, a hot plate, large toaster oven, and utensils. I am am still putting finishing touches on it, but available for use. Pictures soon.

3 Miles to Emory & Henry University, 1.5 miles from I-81, The Cardinal Cottage is centrally located to most SW VA and East TN happenings. Just minutes to Historical Abingdon, VA; 20 minutes to Historical Bristol VA-TN & the new Hard Rock Casino, Hiking & Biking are all nearby, 30 min to Bristol Motor Speedway! This is a 5 acre farm and the neighbor has horses, goats, sheep and chickens. The house is an updated 2 BR, 1 Bath 1940's cottage with new and antique furnishings.
