It's 1 block from the scenic coastal bluff trail & Half Moon Bay State Beach. Downtown is a few minutes walk to restaurants, shops & cafes or simply chill on the beach & watch grey whales or dolphins. Each bedroom also has an office desk to make our home an ideal location for working remote.

Coastal Cottage Guest House

Guest house is attached to our primary residence but has a separate exterior entrance. The interior is separated by double doors that lock from both sides, similar to adjoining hotel rooms. The backyard is shared by us, the owners. There’s a very real chance you’ll be greeted by our friendly Australian Shepherd, Gracie, during your stay! You may see us in the yard during your stay. Feel free to say hi! Otherwise, we like to give our guests privacy.

This private oceanfront retreat offers direct beach access, lush gardens, and a spacious lawn. Walk to restaurants, music venues, and galleries nearby. You'll be just steps from Francis State Beach and the Coastal Trail and blocks from downtown Half Moon Bay with its various restaurants, bars and shops. Park your car for a few days and relax in a quiet setting with views of the ocean and mountains and the sounds of the waves. The ground floor of the house will be yours with its large private bedroom suite, living room/bar, outdoor patio and large backyard. (Please note that there is no kitchen.)
