The Stables Cottage - North West Auckland

The Stables is a quaint country rural cottage set amongst rolling green hills, this fully self contained rustic cottage is beautifully appointed and sleeps up to 4 adults or 2 couples in 2 bedrooms. The cottage sits in the gardens of the owners farmhouse yet you are in complete privacy of all, on this working beef farm. Its location is central to many wedding venues & vineyards and only 45 minutes from Auckland's CBD, making this a perfect location for wedding accomodation or a country escape.

The cottage suits a couple and in the lounge is a sofa bed for a third guest. If there is only two of you and you require the sofa bedding please let us know at booking. Located in the heart of West Auckland's vineyards and wedding venues, 36 kms from the Auckland CBD. Close by is Muriwai Beach with its gannet colony and surfing, also the magnificent Kaipara Harbour, Woodhill and Riverhead forests. Ideally situated for those travelling via the scenic Kaipara Coast and 40-60 min to AKL airport.

Guests will be treated to a complimentary continental style breakfast which includes coffee, tea fruit and juices. We also include fresh seasonal fruits from our orchard as available.

Located about 1km from nothern motorway, free on-premise parking with a bus stop right next to the house, where buses run every 30 mins. Light and modern self-contained studio, own bathroom, kitchenette and living area. Off street parking and own private entrance. Kitchenette has air fryer, toaster, microwave. Walk down end of drive to view Kaipara River. 2 Minute drive to Parakai Mineral Pools and Helensville village, or 10 minute walk to Helensville river walkway to local cafe's or supermarket. Short drive to Muriwai Beach and South Head walking tracks and lakes. Trolley bed for extra adult available, $20 night.

The guest-house faces the back of the main house, separated by the pool and spa area. Lounge area, kitchenette, bedroom, ensuite, covered balcony, use of plunge pool, spa and flower gardens. Laundry amenities at main house and secure on-site car parking. Close to village, semi-rural with sheep on the boundary fence. Must be dog-friendly (2x friendly, pet dogs on-site).
