Step back in time with this original 1890s Appalachian solar powered off grid cabin. The cabin has been renovated with all the modern conveniences: solar-powered and includes hot water, gas stove, full bathroom w/ shower, refrigerator, sleeper sofa folds out to queen size bed. With each stay fresh towels and linens are furnished. Kitchen, hot/cold kitchen sink, K cup friendly coffee machine and more! Covered front porch with bench and 2 rockers. Off the porch is a picnic table and gas grill.

Hoss’s Tiny House

The tiny house is located behind a big garage with a large gravel parking lot. It is very secluded and quaint away from the main road. The parking area is behind at the back porch on the tiny house were you can sit and enjoy peace and quiet. We are 1 mi from South Holston Lake. 2 mi from Creeper Trail, 6 mi Main Street Abingdon, 8 mi downtown Bristol, 10 mi Bristol Speedway. We have farm animals in the fields beside the tiny house that are very friendly. All the farm animals enjoy visitors.

Dream Rock Silo - Independence, Virginia

You have traveled, you have explored. You have stayed in many places! Now its time to stay in one of the coolest locations you never knew existed. Stay in the top of a Silo! The Silo was finished in Nov 2018. We’ve been renovating this old 1950’s dairy barn/silo since 2013. The Silo has 4 floors and the top 2 are yours! There’s a sitting area on the third floor (and bath). The bedroom is at the very top with windows all around and 360°view ! Also your own private deck off the bedroom.

3 Miles to Emory & Henry University, 1.5 miles from I-81, The Cardinal Cottage is centrally located to most SW VA and East TN happenings. Just minutes to Historical Abingdon, VA; 20 minutes to Historical Bristol VA-TN & the new Hard Rock Casino, Hiking & Biking are all nearby, 30 min to Bristol Motor Speedway! This is a 5 acre farm and the neighbor has horses, goats, sheep and chickens. The house is an updated 2 BR, 1 Bath 1940's cottage with new and antique furnishings.

Raven Ridge Lodge is a unique and wonderful retreat located on a mountain top in a natural rhododendron garden. It makes a great base for visiting the Channels Natural area. Take a hike, and then relax in the hot tub. The views are spectacular. My guests tell me my photos don't do justice to the mountain top. Come and see for yourself!
