Crystal Lake Memories

Come and enjoy the lovely view of historic Crystal Lake from our hilltop home. Crystal Lake has been a part of East Texas history since it opened as a speakeasy in 1920. These days, you won't find flappers but you will find birds of a feather and other wildlife including bald eagles, blue birds and otters. We even have a train! Walk the nature trails around the property or fish at nearby Toledo Bend. Your home base is outfitted in vintage western style. Lights out and the stars come out.

Cozy Carthage Cottage

This cozy cottage has everything you need for your stay in Carthage, Texas. Whether you are in town to support the Bulldogs or the Panola Ponies, to visit the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame or the town’s craft brewery, you will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located cottage. This home has an open concept living area and kitchen, two spacious bedrooms with queen size beds and one bathroom stocked with all of the essentials available for you to use. You are gonna love it!

Cozy Cedar Waterfront Cabin 10 on Toledo Bend

Sit back and relax in this 1 room stylish cedar cabin. Sip coffee on the covered porch and take in the beautiful sunrise from your lakefront view surrounded by Sabine National Forest. Keep an eye out for Bald Eagles. Explore nearby coves from our kayaks, jump in the lake from our swimming platform, fish from our piers, or lounge by the campfire. Toledo Bend Lake, one of the premier bass fishing lakes in the country, and we have the best crappie fishing right below our marina just steps away.

The Red House on Cross Lake

This is a Cross Lake cabin that we renovated from an old catfish restaurant built in the early 1930's. We call it the RED HOUSE. There are three cabins on the property that we also use for visiting family and friends. We live on the property behind the houses and we all use the property and pier. Guest also have use of the pier/boat house. The house is at the end of the road on the lake. Although family also uses the property the cabin is quiet and private with a great view of the open lake.

DeeDee's B&B

Much more than an overnight stay, this is an experience. Come to the country to get away from it all. Enjoy the great outdoors in this quaint little cabin that allows outdoor relaxing under a fully covered porch. Catch a fish, roast a s'more or pet a goat. Golf cart available for touring around. Glamping at its best. Finally had to give in to technology and add WIFI for guests (free) and added a cell phone booster as well for better outside communication when needed. Pool is now available.

Sunset Cabin

Private country atmosphere in city located on 7 acres. Lots of large pine and oak trees, birds, and catch and release from onsite pond. Plenty of room for horse or boat trailers to park. 5 to 10 minutes from restaurants and stores if your not in mood to cook. Daily pet fee $10.00 per day per pet due check in 2pets. 30 lb. limit unless you talk with us first. NO CATS. You will need to provide animal crate if pet is left alone in cabin. After 10PM inquires will be answered the next morning

Secret Cottage

This rustic, yet elegant guest house is located in the heart of Carthage. Looking for a romantic getaway? We’ve hosted anniversary couples, honeymooners, and even a proposal! It’s also a restful stop on a trip or a great place to unwind. Go shopping at the quaint downtown stores or just stay in the cozy house and watch movies on the big screen. Speaking of movies, Bernie was made about a famous criminal who worked at the funeral home next door. Come explore the infamous small town!

Eagles Cove

This unique A frame cabin is nestled on the lakefront- northern part of Toledo Bend, surrounded by mature trees that creates breathtaking landscape. From the patio, you are able to watch eagles landing and souring through beautiful sunsets. Cabin has been updated with new A/C, new flooring and furniture. Come relax at this quiet, clean cabin with two bedrooms, one bathroom, and a loft overlooking a beautiful view of Toledo Lake. Due to nature surrounding, internet is average speed.

Murvaul Retreat

Relax with the friends and family at this stay with beautiful lake views in the evening from the back patio. Grill and sit by the gas firepit as the sun goes down over Jones Branch on Lake Murvaul. Whether you are in town for an event, work or a family function this home offers everything to make your stay enjoyable. Close access to the marina and restaurants makes it great for fishing or hunting. The covered parking is great to protect your belongings while you stay.

Rolling Hills Entire Guesthouse Breakfast included

Quiet country setting on five acres but only four miles from town. Plenty of privacy but the hosts live on property just a call or text away. The dining room table easily seats 8 for meals, playing cards/games we have available. The guesthouse has a fully equipped kitchen or use the gas grill and you can eat outside on the private patio surrounded by tall pines and watch/listen to nature. We also have a fire pit to enjoy a warm evening outdoors.

Toledo Bend Retreat with private boat ramp

Private and secluded lakeside camphouse that offers a quiet and relaxing getaway from the stress of everyday life. You can fish, kayak, go on nature walks or just relax on the screened in porch listening to the sounds of nature and wildlife surrounding you. We offer all of your basic amenities along with our own added touches and have flexible rates available. No wifi available due to the heavily wooded and rural location of our camp.
