Oak Dene is a unique and historic building. It was built in 1908 for Dr and Mrs John Wight as a family home and surgery by his eminent architect brother, Gerard Wight. The house is built entirely of ripple iron, inside and out. It is encircled by deep verandas, giving it a shaded, private quality that is enhanced by its setting in lawns and trees. We are family and pet friendly with a safe enclosed rear yard.

The pantry is stocked tea, coffee, sugar, sauces etc. internet is provided free of charge plus Netflix on smart TV. A washing machine is located under the staircase for use with a clothes horse stored in cupboard.
