We are 5 minutes to Clare Glens, 10 minutes to Newport town and Murroe Village which hosts Glenstal Abbey, 34 minutes to Limerick city, 30 minutes to the scenic village of Killaloe,46 minutes to Shannon and 2 hours to Dublin Airport. The local pub is a 10 minute walk from the cottage, and is a real Irish pub with mud walls and full of character. There are many nearby attractions which include Golf Courses. Mountain Biking etc.

12 mins walk, 3 min drive to Main Street, this converted open plan cottage is a lovely place to stay and is child and pet friendly. Excellent train and Bus service. Lots of amenities in the town. Adjacent to Co Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Clare and Tipperary. Great walking/cycling in the area. Cottage fully self contained. There is a large enclosed garden. Charming 15th Century Castle

Built in the late 1400s, Grantstown Castle has been lovingly restored and mixes medieval architecture with modern comforts. The Castle Is Rented In Its Entirety And Caters For Up To Seven Guests. The castle is comprised of six floors, connected via a stone and oak spiral staircase. There are three double bedrooms and one single. The castle has great battlements which are accessible at the top of the staircase and host amazing views of the surrounding countryside.

Thatched Cottage County Limerick

200 year old cottage in a rural setting 25 minutes from Limerick City. A convenient stopover between east and west coasts, and a good base for visiting the Rock of Cashel, King John’s Castle, Adare and Bunratty. Or as a destination in itself if you want to see how they lived long ago and want a few quiet days away. The house still has the old mud walls and thatched roof, but has been upgraded to suit twenty-first century living.
