The Tower, Thornton Castle

Traditional & relaxed accommodation in the 16th century Scottish tower of our family home. Accessed by a spiral staircase your space comprises 2 bedrooms for 4 people over two floors in a private wing of the castle with bathroom and small sitting room. Full breakfast included. Set in the foothills of the Cairngorm National Park, this is an ideal stop off between Inverness and Edinburgh. Balmoral Castle, Dunnottar Castle, Glamis Castle and St Andrews are nearby. With access to the mountains on the doorstep it's a wonderful base for holidays and a ideal location to explore the wider Cairngorm National Park. We are pet friendly and welcome up to two well behaved pets.

50thehighstreet is a spacious three-storey townhouse in the heart of Kingussie. Perfect, for exploring the Highlands. With five bedrooms and two bathrooms, it sleeps up to 12 guests, perfect for families and groups. Enjoy a Victorian-style lounge and a fully equipped kitchen with range cooker. There is also a patio with seating and a Kamado charcoal/wood BBQ. Free on-street bay parking outside. Pet friendly – one pet free, £10 per extra pet.

Spring has arrived as have the long nights, in mid June sunset will be 22.30 so you can still play golf long into the evening! The long daylight hours in June make the cottage the perfect place for exploring this wonderful region, whether on foot, bike or car. Drumguish Cottage is located in the highlands of Scotland, and the Cairngorm National Park which is 1,748 square miles and larger than Luxembourg.
