Brand new build, only 800m from the beautiful Bulkley and Telkwa Rivers and approximately 30 minute drive to one of the best mountains for snowmobiling, Microwave. Many other options for snowmobiling, skiing, hunting, swimming, hiking and much more the Bulkley Valley has to offer. 15 minute drive into downtown Smithers for all your needs with transit pick up right next door. Smithers Mountain Dome South

Please note there is no running water or cooking facility. We do not allow any kind of open flame. This includes camp stoves and smoking. A 4x4 or AWD vehicle is required to safely access our property. Our check-in time is 7pm. Night sky glamping and star viewing in an entirely clear majestic geodesic dome! Situated on Hudson Bay Mountain in Smithers, BC, this charming cabin has ski-in/ski-out access; as one of the only cabins to offer one-night rentals, this is an ideal choice for a quick getaway or holiday with family or friends. Being the sole cabin on the lower side of the road, it offers a convenient location next to the upper parking lot (P2), allowing you to enjoy the privacy you desire without the inconvenience of lugging your equipment and gear up the mountain.

Bear Cabin at Rocky Ridge Resort

In our Bear Cabin you will find a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms with indoor plumbing and one with a shower, an open little living room with a wood stove for frosty winter days, a separate bedroom with a queen size bed downstairs, one queen size and two single beds in an open loft upstairs. So up to 6 people can stay there. There is no cell-phone connection or internet and there is no power in the cabin, everything works with propane.

There is also a newly constructed paved bike path right across the road. Close to Tyhee Lake provincial park and just minutes from smithers.
